International programmes

Nantes Université proudly hosts over 4,000 international students annually.

Our comprehensive offerings span from bachelor's through to doctoral degrees, delivered in both French and English.

Graduate programmes

Nantes University also offers a new training model called Graduate programmes which provides an integrated master-doctorate pathway.
Each programme is characterised by an academic content strongly linked to research on the themes of the best laboratories of Nantes Université, internationally recognised for the quality of their scientific work.

English taught programmes

Through various internationalisation initiatives and the development of international partnerships, Nantes Université aims at building international study programmes in many fields, with English taught programmes.

French as a second language

The Institute of French as a Second Language (i-FLE) offers several long and short term French courses for all proficiency levels. All courses are open to citizens of non-French-speaking countries. The minimum age is 18.
