EUniWell and Nantes Université: taking action for well-being
EUniWell, a European University Alliance
The aim is to create transnational university campuses to promote mobility through innovative formats, and to contribute to international recognition of European higher education by enabling students to obtain a European degree.
Together, EUniWell’s partner universities develop initiatives in research, teaching and innovation within the EUniWell thematic arenas: Health, Environment, Culture and Multilingualism, Social Equality and Teacher Education.
Through this work, EUniWell aims to understand, improve, measure and rebalance the well-being of individuals, our own community, our environment and society as a whole at the regional, European and global level.
EUniWell's vision: well-being at the heart of universities and institutions
In EUniWell's vision, social and individual well-being is a necessary condition for society and institutions to function properly. This means looking at populations through the lens of health, social and gender equality, democracy, quality education and lifelong learning, culture and multilingualism, and environmental sustainability – for current and future generations.This vision is linked to several of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: good health and well-being, quality education, gender equality, reduced inequalities, climate action, peace, justice and strong institutions. The alliance’s members offer several ways to engage in research, learning and teaching activities centred around these Sustainable Development Goals, including:
- Innovative mobility opportunities;
- Courses, training opportunities and joint study programmes;(lien vers actu)
- Project funding through the Seed Funding Programme;
