Published by Times Higher Education (THE), the University Impact Rankings assess the performance of global universities in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations. To compile this 2025 ranking, THE evaluated data from more than 2,300 international institutions (prevention measures, research into innovative solutions, etc.).

THE Interdisciplinary Science Rankings

The Interdisciplinary Science Rankings is a ranking of interdisciplinary sciences, published for the first time in 2024, in collaboration with Schmidt Science Fellows. It is managed by THE, which also publishes THE World University Rankings, THE By Subject, THE Impact, THE Reputation, and several regional rankings.
The ranking includes 11 performance indicators calibrated to assess institutions in three key areas, each representing a stage in the research project life cycle: inputs (funding), process (measures of success, facilities, administrative support and promotion) and outputs (publications, research quality and reputation).

Global Ranking of Academic Subjects 2025
The Global Ranking of Academic Subjects is published as a supplement to the ARWU. The GRAS ranks universities in 57 disciplines across five broad subject areas: natural sciences, engineering, life sciences, medical sciences and social sciences. As with the ARWU, the GRAS ranks the world's best universities by subject area according to six criteria, including the number of publications in the two scientific journals Nature and Science, the number of citations of these articles in referenced scientific journals, and the number of academic awards given to students and staff.
