  • From September 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025

In order to help its students in precarious situations, Nantes Université is continuing to take action by providing a new social assistance to students, under specific conditions. This assistance, will enable financially struggling students to pay all or part of their energy bills.

The rise in energy costs (both gas and electricity) represents an additional expense that some students may find challenging to overcome.

To benefit from this assistance, which may be up to €150, students who wish to apply are invited to request a meeting with the social services to explain their financial situation and difficulties.

Conditions :

  • Currently enrolled at Nantes Université
  • Have lodgings in your name
  • Facing financial difficulties (supporting documents may be requested)
  • Provide a bank statement (RIB) in the name of the student

After assessing the student's financial situation, the social services will submit the financial assistance request on a commission, which will approve or reject the allocation of this assistance and determine the amount. The student will then be informed of the commission's decision. The Pass Énergie will thus help pay all or part of the student's energy bill.

Applications submitted to social workers are reviewed in advisory committees organized throughout the academic year.

We encourage you to contact the social services from now on to schedule a meeting.
