The Engineering Sciences and Systems Graduate School (GS SIS) is one of the four graduate schools established by Nantes Université. It’s a strategic project funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR).

Graduate Programmes

The SIS Graduate School offers five Graduate Programmes. Four of them lead to a Master's degree awarded by Centrale Nantes as part of Integrated Master-PhD tracks, while one programme is hosted at Nantes Université.

MASTER'S PROGRAMMES

DOCTORAL PROGRAMMES


Students pursuing a PhD degree are registered either at Nantes Université or Centrale Nantes and are enrolled in the SIS Doctoral School. The SIS (Engineering and Systems Sciences) Doctoral School provides doctoral students with a first professional experience through 3-year research training and an internationally recognised degree. The Graduate School and the Doctoral School work alongside to offer students with a wide variety of training courses and scientitic events.

Laboratories

Students are enrolled in one of the following international-level research labs. Master's students have classes taught by researchers from these labs, and carry basic projects in the lab. PhD students are members of the lab of their PhD supervisor.

Whether you choose a Master's degree taught in Centrale Nantes or in Nantes Université, grants are available to reduce tuition fees and/or facilitate your arrival in France. Our programmes are as well eligible for major stipendia such as France Excellence Scholarship, ISEP or Erasmus+.
