Discover the EU-GaNoM project

The EU Grant advisors Network of Multipliers (EU-GaNoM) project is an EU-GaNoM is an EU-funded initiative designed to strengthen the capacity of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) across Europe in the management of EU projects.

The project targets grant advisors and administrative staff, equipping them with specialised skills to advance their professional development, enhance recognition of their roles, and foster greater cooperation between the education and research sectors. EU-GaNoM also seeks to improve HEIs' capacity to deliver hybrid staff training and to promote sustainable transnational networks.

Activities

The project will develop two staff week courses for EU grant advisors and project managers. These courses will combine pedagogical content designed for hybrid delivery with a phase of practical experimentation, including training sessions and peer-to-peer activities carried out during mobility visits at two partner universities. Job-shadowing activities will further support staff mobility coordinators in improving how staff week courses are organised within their own institutions.

Expected outcomes

EU-GaNoM will produce a suite of practical, reusable resources and training outputs, including:
  • A staff week course model incorporating hybrid delivery methods
  • Sustainable, digitally accessible training content on key European project management topics, tailored for grant advisors and administrative staff
  • An online repository of reusable digital resources to ensure long-term accessibility and project sustainability
  • The training of at least 70 administrative staff members from six different countries
