Last November, PhD students were introduced to scientific dissemination in physics, chemistry and geosciences. This session was followed by a workshop led by two science journalists, during which students were trained to create a short podcast to make their research accessible to the general public.
The aim of the first part of this training, offered in English, was to provide a basis to better explaining scientific work to the general public. The goal was also to discover scientific dissemination through the feedback of 6 researchers, lecturers and former PhD student.
Some PhD students were then able to follow a workshop to learn how to prepare a storytelling, write a script, record themselves in audio or video and edit their creation.
You can find below the podcasts recorded during the session.
